Location
Our house, build in 1996, is located just outside of Wernigerode, in the
district of Benzigerode in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a dead-end
street. There are hiking trails and bicycle routes nearby. Taking the
"Romantic Road" it's only 4km to the Old Town of Wernigerode. All places of
interest of the Harz, like Blankenburg, Quedlinburg, Thale (Roßtrappe),
Goslar (Kaiserpfalz), Bad Harzburg , Schierke, and the "Harzer narrow gauge
railways" to the Brocken are within a 30
minute drive.
